He is an embodiment of patience, selfless service and self-sacrifice. Swamiji was appointed as General Secretary of the D.L.S. in 2004 and served the Society in that capacity till he was elected President in September 2008.
Sri Swami Vimalananda has much love and spiritual affection for Ajatananda Ashram and its Head Monk, Swami Atmananda Udasin. During his visit, Swamiji Maharaj was accompanied by some of the senior monks of Shivananda Ashram and showed great interest in the development of the ashram. Having known personally Swami Abhishiktananda and Swami Ajatananda, he shared many precious memories of their amazing lives.
